The laser emits a concentrated wavelength of energy absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle, disabling it to prevent future hair growth. Since hair grows in cycles, multiple sessions are needed to achieve long-lasting results. Clients are advised to shave the treatment area beforehand and avoid any hair removal methods that remove the follicle, such as waxing or tweezing.
